Hello 2011!

Well Christmas is over, the new year has begun. That means it's time to start thinking about baseball. It won't be long now when the truck full of baseballs, bats, gloves, and everything warm weather realated will leave Fenway Park and begin the 1,553 mile trip to sunny Ft Myers Florida. So lets take a look ahead to the 2011roster. Here is what I would put out as my projected lineup for opening day.
CF Jacoby Ellsbury
2B Dustin Pedoria
LF Carl Crawford
3B Kevin Youkilis
1B Adrian Gonzalez
DH David Ortiz
RF JD Drew
SS Marco Scutaro
C Jason Varitek/Jarrod Saltilamacchia

With the additions of Carl Crawford and Adrian Gonzalez with a healty Ellsbury, Pedoria, and Youkilis there is no reason to think that this line up can't score 950 to 1000 runs this season. The Sox should have real good bench too, with the addition of Crawford this mean Mike Cameron will come off the bench (probley a good move at this stage of his career). Also off the bench we got Ryan Kalish, Jed Lowire. Of corse a lot can happen in spring training so we'll see.
